WELCOME
Welcome to the East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard(ETNVHG) website. ETNVHG is a Tax Exempt 501(c)(19) organization that has been providing Military Honors for honorably discharged veterans funerals since 1994. While ETNVHG performs most of the services at the Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Hwy, honors can be provided at the cemetery of choice in the greater Knox County area. If the request is in another area, we can recommend another honor guard to assist with the service.
Your support is greatly appreciated and donations are tax deductible!
What is the East TN Veterans Honor Guard?
The East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard is established to honor the military service of deceased veterans.
It is our desire to see that the highest honor is paid to our deceased brothers and sisters as well as their families.
The Honor Guard is comprised of veterans who honorably served within any branch of service of the United States of America.
How to Request Honors
Requesting Military honors is accomplished in different ways depending on if using a funeral home to assist or the family is planning without a funeral home’s assistance.
Through the Funeral Home
If using a funeral home they will assist in the planning from scheduling to contacting ETNVHG. They will explain the necessary items required and assist where necessary.
Family Planned Services
If the family is doing the planning you may contact us directly via email or through this website. A representative of ETNVHG will assist you with planning and scheduling the service and will answer your questions through the process.
